After you install the EagleOne FTP backup agent on your computer, you will register that computer with our data centers to activate your account.

The Installation Wizard will then guide you through setting up your backup schedule and file selection process.

Once you confirm the files selected for backup, you will start the initial upload, which seeds the data center with your first full backup.

The EagleOne FTP backup agent compresses the data to approximately 1/3 its original size into a securely encrypted format ready for transmission. EagleOne DBS uses the same 128-bit “Triple-DES” encryption that your bank uses to protect trillions of dollars a day in electronic wire transfers.

Your data is then transmitted over a secure Internet connection to our Data Center.

When finished, the Data Center verifies the data and informs your computer that the files are secure and your computer terminates the Internet connection.A transaction log tracks all the activity so you can verify your backup is complete.

Your critical data is now safely backed up and stored offsite!

After the initial upload is complete the EagleOne FTP backup agent will automatically launch a nightly incremental backup of files that have changed or been added since the last backup.

Your nightly backups will be scheduled for times when your business is closed and the computer is not in use.

In the event of a data loss disaster where your computers might be destroyed, your valuable asset - the data vital to your business - is safe and secure.

You can restore lost data over the Internet using the EagleOne FTP software interface or you can have your data burned onto CD-ROM and shipped within 24-hours so you can be back in business instead of OUT of business!
